Hello. I’m Laura.

Business problems are human problems so I lead with insight and empathy to solve big challenges and create meaningful impact.

As a strategic creative director working in proposition, brand and experience innovation and design, I help companies - from startups to global organisations - explore new possibilities, design the future and create what's next.

Design and collaboration are our superpowers to shape tomorrow. I combine research, design-thinking, creative confidence and storytelling skills to set the vision and make change happen.

 
 
  • Creative Lead CreateFuture 2021 - present

    Helping global organisations innovate and design so they can take new products and services to market. My role is to take a business challenge and lead client teams through design sprints to find solutions in brand, proposition and experience design. Clients include adidas, Standard Life, Zoetis and Penguin Random House.

    Co-Founder After The Pandemic 2020 - present

    Launching a brand for good. Encouraging local communities to rethink, reimagine and redesign the world around us to be greener, more resilient and more vibrant through the power of creativity. The social initiative was set up to enable and fund community engagement, cultural events, educational toolkits and online design schools.

    Head of Brand & Marketing edify.ac 2020

    Playing a pivotal role in a technology start-up, edify: disrupting education with virtual reality, gaming technology and user-generated content. Working alongside the leadership team as a ‘swiss army knife’, supporting the founders with the go-to-market strategy, leading on the visual and verbal brand, marketing strategy and roll out to grow presence in the Higher Education market and build the story for investment.

    Creative Technologist Frame 2018 - 2020

    As an in-house entrepreneur for a marketing, advertising and PR agency, I gave clients a Model T Ford when they thought they wanted a faster horse. Clients included Johnny Walker, UEFA, National Trust for Scotland and NHS.

    Lead Creative Soluis 2016 - 2018

    Creative direction and production of narrative-driven interactive and immersive technology-led visual experiences, videos and apps across government, tourism, construction and the arts [B2B].
